Taskera

Creator terms

Effective date: 16 September 2026

Version: 1.0

These Creator Terms apply to every Creator on Taskera, operated by ITTOR LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17000531, whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

They are additional to the Terms of Use and prevail over them where the two conflict. They are addressed to you as a business user; the consumer protections in the Terms of Use do not apply to your use of the Platform as a Creator, save where mandatory law provides otherwise.

1. Your status

1.1 You are an independent contractor. These Terms do not create employment, agency, partnership or joint venture between you and us.

1.2 You decide which Requests to accept, what to charge within the Client's budget, how to perform the work and when to work. You provide your own equipment and software.

1.3 You are responsible for your own taxes, social contributions, insurance and any registration your local law requires. We do not withhold tax from amounts credited to you unless required to by law.

1.4 Your contract for the work is with the Client, not with us. We are an intermediary. We do not commission the work, do not own it and are not liable for it.

2. Joining

2.1 You apply through the registration flow. The application comprises personal details, confirmation of your email address and telephone number by code, your address, and three document files: the front of your identity document, the reverse, and a photograph of you holding it. Files may be JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 10 MB each.

2.2 You do not obtain access to the Platform until your application is approved. Applications are reviewed by our compliance team, which may approve, decline with a stated reason, or request further documents.

2.3 On approval you receive a link to sign in. You must complete the competency questionnaire before your profile enters matching. Until it is complete, your account is visible to you but is not shown to Clients.

2.4 Your competency questionnaire covers your fields of work, experience and specialisation, style, working conditions and portfolio. A minimum of three portfolio items is required. The accuracy of this information determines the quality of the Requests you receive.

3. Requests, Invoices and work

3.1 A Request tells you the category and subcategory, a short description, the budget range, the deadline and the key parameters of the Task. It does not identify the Client.

3.2 You have 24 hours to accept, decline with a reason, or ask questions in the dialogue. After that the Request is declined automatically. Response rate is a factor in matching.

3.3 On acceptance you issue an Invoice: amount, delivery date, itemised scope and any comment. The amount defaults to the upper end of the Client's budget and you may change it. An Invoice is valid for 72 hours.

3.4 A new Invoice automatically cancels any earlier unpaid Invoice for the same Task.

3.5 Do not begin work before the Invoice is paid. Work performed before payment is at your own risk and we cannot assist in recovering payment for it.

3.6 An Additional Assignment is priced, invoiced and paid separately. Work on it begins only after payment.

3.7 You deliver by uploading files with a comment. The Client then accepts or declines; if the Client does nothing within 5 calendar days, the work is accepted automatically.

4. Commission

4.1 Our Commission is 15% of the Invoice amount unless a different rate is stated for a category in your account.

4.2 Commission is deducted when the amount is credited to your Balance, not when you withdraw. Each credit shows three figures: the Invoice amount, the Commission and the amount credited.

4.3 We may change the Commission on not less than 15 days’ prior notice. A change does not affect amounts already credited or Invoices already issued. If you do not accept a change you may stop accepting Requests and close your account before it takes effect.

5. Your Balance

5.1 Your Balance is a record of what we owe you. It is not a wallet, not an account, not electronic money and not a stored value instrument. We are not a bank and are not authorised as a payment institution or electronic money institution. There is no internal currency and no transfers between users.

5.2 Your Balance comprises four figures:

ComponentWhat it containsWhen it becomes available
PendingAmounts from accepted work still within the holding period5 calendar days after Acceptance
AvailableAmounts that have cleared the holding periodImmediately, provided payment details and tax data are complete
On holdAmounts relating to Tasks in dispute, and withdrawal requests stopped by an alertOn a decision by us
WithdrawnAmounts paid out—

5.3 The holding period exists to cover the window in which a payment may be reversed or a Task disputed. It cannot be shorter than the automatic acceptance window.

5.4 Your Balance bears no interest and cannot be topped up, transferred to another user or used to pay for anything.

5.5 We may set off against your Balance any amount you owe us, including amounts credited in error, refunds ordered under the Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy, and Commission.

6. Payment details

6.1 You must provide payment details before you can withdraw. You can accept and perform Tasks without them.

FieldRequirement

Account holder nameLatin script. Must match your verified name. Where it does not, withdrawal is blocked

Card expiryNot in the past. We notify you 30 days before expiry
IBANFormat and check digit validated
BIC / SWIFTRequired for transfers outside SEPA
Bank countryISO country list
Payout currencyUSD by default

6.2 Adding or changing payment details requires your current password and a code sent to your confirmed email address.

6.3 Withdrawals are suspended for 24 hours after any change to payment details. You will see a timer and the reason.

6.4 Full card numbers and IBANs are not displayed again after saving, to you or to our staff.

6.5 The history of changes to payment details is retained and available to our compliance team when reviewing alerts.

6.6 Where the same payment details appear on more than one Creator account, withdrawals on all connected accounts are stopped pending review.

7. Withdrawals

7.1 You choose when and how much to withdraw. Nothing is paid out automatically.

LimitCurrent value
Minimum withdrawal requestUSD 50
Maximum single requestUSD 2,000
Monthly withdrawal volumeUSD 5,000
Warning threshold80% of the applicable limit

7.2 On submission the amount moves immediately from Available to On hold, so the same funds cannot be withdrawn twice.

7.3 Requests are checked against the limit rules. A request that triggers no rule joins the payment queue. A request that triggers a rule is referred for review.

7.4 Statuses are: Requested, Under review, Documents required, Approved for payment, Paid, Declined. Where a request is declined the amount returns to Available and you are given the reason.

7.5 The Withdraw button is enabled only where all of the following are true: the available amount meets the minimum; payment details are complete; tax data is complete; verification is approved; and no restriction is active. Where a condition is not met, the button states which one.

7.6 We may set an individual limit for your account, higher or lower than the general limit, with a stated duration and reason.

8. Compliance checks

8.1 We operate automated rules that flag withdrawal requests and account activity for review — for example a request above the single-request maximum, monthly volume reaching or exceeding the limit, payment details changed within the preceding 24 hours, the same payment details on several accounts, an expired or declined identity document while a Balance is available, or a first withdrawal request.

8.2 The effect of a rule is that the item is referred for review. The decision that follows — to release, to stop, to request documents or to vary a limit — is taken by a member of our team. No decision producing legal or similarly significant effects for you is taken solely by automated means.

8.3 Where we request documents, your request is held until they are provided and reviewed. You may ask for human intervention, express your point of view and contest any decision.

8.4 You must keep your identity documents current. Where a document expires or is declined while you hold an available Balance, withdrawals are unavailable until it is updated.

9. Tax

9.1 You must provide your country of tax residence, your tax identification number and your status — individual, sole trader or company — before you can withdraw.

9.2 We may be required to collect information about you and to report it to tax authorities under rules applicable to digital platform operators, including the EU rules implementing Council Directive 2021/514 (DAC7) and equivalent rules in other jurisdictions. Where those rules apply we will collect the required information, report it as required, and give you a copy of what we report.

9.3 Where you do not provide the required information, we may be obliged to withhold payouts or to close your account.

9.4 You are responsible for declaring and paying your own taxes. Amounts credited to your Balance are stated gross of your tax.

10. Intellectual property in the work

10.1 You warrant that the work you deliver is your own, that you have the rights to any third-party material incorporated in it, and that it does not infringe the rights of any person.

10.2 Unless you and the Client agree otherwise in writing before delivery, on Acceptance and payment you assign to the Client all rights in the deliverables, excluding your pre-existing materials, tools and templates, in respect of which you grant the Client a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use them as incorporated in the deliverables.

10.3 You may display work you have delivered in your portfolio unless the Client has asked you in writing not to.

10.4 You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your profile, portfolio and name on the Platform and in our marketing while these Terms are in force.

11. Your obligations

You will:

(a) keep your competency questionnaire, rates, availability and payment details accurate and current;

(b) perform accepted Tasks with reasonable skill and care and by the date stated on the Invoice;

(c) respond to Requests and to Clients within the stated windows;

(d) not take a transaction off the Platform to avoid Commission, or solicit a Client to do so;

(e) not open or control more than one Creator account;

(f) not use another person's identity, documents or payment details;

(g) not subcontract a Task without telling the Client, and remain responsible for the work if you do;

(h) keep confidential anything a Client shares with you for the purposes of a Task; and

(i) comply with applicable law and with these Terms.

12. Disputes over work

12.1 Where a Client declines delivered work, the Task moves to Dispute, no amount is credited, and the matter is referred to us.

12.2 We will consider the Brief, the Invoice, the dialogue, the files delivered and the reasons given by both sides, and may ask either of you for further information.

12.3 We may decide in favour of the Client (refund), in favour of you (credit), or partially. Our decision binds the parties for the purpose of releasing or refunding the amount held; it does not determine your legal rights against the Client, which remain unaffected.

12.4 The procedure is set out in the Refund, Cancellation and Dispute Policy.

13. Suspension, restriction and termination

13.1 You may stop accepting Requests at any time and may close your account once you have no Tasks in progress and no Balance outstanding.

13.2 We may restrict, suspend or close your account where you breach these Terms, where required by law, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful use.

13.3 Where we restrict or suspend your account, we will give you a statement of reasons before or, where that is not possible, at the time the measure takes effect, and you may contest it through the complaint process in clause 14. Where we terminate, we will give 30 days' notice unless we are prevented from doing so by law, by a legal obligation, or by a repeated breach or conduct causing us or users a risk of harm.

13.4 On termination: no new Requests are sent to you; Tasks in progress run their course; amounts already credited remain payable to you subject to the holding period and to clauses 5.5, 7 and 8; and your profile is removed from matching.

13.5 Clauses 1.3, 4.2, 5.5, 9, 10, 12, 14, 15 and 16 survive termination.

14. Complaints

14.1 If you are unhappy with a decision — a restriction, a declined withdrawal, a dispute outcome or a matching issue — raise it at support@task-era.com with your account identifier and the reference of the item concerned.

14.2 We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and to respond substantively within 10 business days. Complaints are handled by someone other than the person who took the original decision wherever practicable.

14.3 If we cannot resolve your complaint between us, we are willing to engage in good faith with mediation. Each party bears its own costs unless agreed otherwise. Nothing here prevents you from bringing proceedings.

15. Our liability to you

15.1 Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

15.2 Subject to clause 15.1, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or indirect or consequential loss, nor for the acts or omissions of a Client.

15.3 Subject to clause 15.1, our aggregate liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of the Commission we received from you in that period and USD 500.

15.4 Nothing in this clause limits our obligation to pay you amounts credited to your Balance.

16. General

16.1 Changes. We may change these Terms on not less than 15 days’ notice by email and on the Platform. Where a change is required by law it may take effect sooner. If you do not accept a change you may close your account before it takes effect. Each version is numbered and archived.

16.2 Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign to a company acquiring our business.

16.3 Notices. By email to the address on your account, and to us at support@task-era.com.

16.4 Languages. In the event of a discrepancy between language versions, the English version prevails.

16.5 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
